Arabic Source and Roman Transliteration

Arabic		فَإِنْ أَعْرَضُوا فَقُلْ أَنذَرْتُكُمْ صَاعِقَةً مِّثْلَ صَاعِقَةِ عَادٍ وَثَمُود
Transliteration		Fa-in aAAradoo fuqul anthartukum saAAiqatan mithla saAAiqati AAadin wathamooda
Transliteration-2		fa-in aʿraḍū faqul andhartukum ṣāʿiqatan mith'la ṣāʿiqati ʿādin wathamūd

Generally Accepted Translations of the Meaning
Muhammad Asad		BUT IF they turn away, say: “I warn you of [the coming of] a thunderbolt of punishment like the thunderbolt [that fell upon the tribes] of Ad and Thamud!&rdquo
